IAMRA Institute Pre-Conference - Optional event

Purpose
The IAMRA Institute will focus on essential practical aspects and challenges for medical regulators, and will be an opportunity for delegates to meet and establish relationships with colleagues in other jurisdictions.

Target Audience
The IAMRA Institute is aimed at:

1. Newly established medical regulatory authorities; and
2. Medical regulatory authorities that are looking to consolidate and improve their current activities

Format
The IAMRA Institute will focus on practical examples and experiences to enable medical regulatory authorities to better fulfill their mandate. The half-day will consist of three (3) workshops on specific topics selected by Institute registrants and led by experts in other medical regulatory jurisdictions.

Registration Policies

1. Registration fees must be paid in full before you can be admitted to the conference. If there is an outstanding balance on your account when you arrive at the conference, you will be asked to settle your account by credit card, cheque, cash or money order.
2. Registration fees include 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and are charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
3. Advance registrations will be accepted until September 26, 2012. After September 26, 2012, registrations will only be accepted on-site.
4. If you wish to cancel your conference place, please inform the conference secretariat in writing at IAMRA@buksa.com. For cancellations received before September 3, 2012, we will refund the registration fee minus an administration fee of $84.75. After this date we are unable to offer refunds. Refunds for dinner registration will not be issued.
5. You may transfer your conference registration to another delegate. To do so, please confirm this in writing to the conference secretariat at IAMRA@buksa.com before September 26, 2012.
6. Credit card payment must be made by VISA or MasterCard. Your statement will read "Buksa Assoc. (780) 436-0983 Edm".
7. A confirmation notice detailing your registration and a receipt will be sent to you within 10 working days of receipt of your completed registration form.
8. Completion of this form constitutes a binding agreement to the policies listed above.

Links to the hotel booking forms will be provided on your official confirmation, after you have completed your registration. All room rates are subject to 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

Additional Policies - applicable to all hotels

1. Room reservations are made on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability. To take advantage of the discounted rates outlined above, reservations must be made before September 12, 2012. Any reservations after this date will be charged at the standard rate.
2. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. VISA, MasterCard or American Express will be accepted for this purpose.
3. Delegates will be required to make the full payment for their accommodation on arrival to the hotel, by credit card.
4. If you wish to cancel your hotel reservation please contact your hotel directly. Cancellations received up to 72 hours in advance of your check in date will be free of charge. After this time, one night accommodation will be charged.
5. Conference rates, subject to availability, are offered from Friday, September 28 to Monday, October 8.
6. For all hotels, check-in time is 15:00 and check out time is 12:00. Earlier check-in times or later check-out times may be available, depending on availability. Fees are listed above for each hotel.
7. Breakfast is not included in the room rates.
